Steps to Joining the Club

Thank you for your interest in the BYU Amateur Radio Club. Becoming a full member is easy. There are a few basic steps to becoming an active member in the club.

  • Register with the website - This will allow you to receive club information via e-mail as well as let us know who you are.
  • Pay Membership Dues to the club. Currently, they are $2 a year for basic membership dues. You can pay them to our club advisor, Jim Manookin, either by catching him at a club meeting OR visiting him at 267 FB (Fletcher Building, just south of the WSC; his office is down the hall of the west wing on the second floor, with windows that look out on the lovely blank wall of the Clyde Bldg.).
  • Particpate in our weekly net - A weekly club radio conversation, held every Thursday evening at 9 PM on our 145.330 (-) repeater. (See Repeater Information.)  Non club members are also welcome to participate.
  • Come to some meetings/activities -  Check out our Calendar for details on upcoming events, and check your e-mail!
